| As a retired Naval Aviator, I started Navy Brass, Inc., in partnership with my son, to recreate the solid brass aviator wings I purchased in Taiwan as a young aviator over 35 years ago. These wings followed me throughout my naval career and I’ve proudly displayed them wherever I’ve been stationed.
We’ve partnered with the Crescent Brass Manufacturing Corporation, located in Reading PA, to recreate the Naval Aviator and Naval Flight Officer’s “Wings of Gold” in solid brass. These magnificent wings are 30 inches long, weigh almost 12 pounds and are individually handcrafted and polished in one of the oldest foundries in the country. Your wings will be polished and treated with a protective coating that will last for years. A mounting bar will allow you to hang your wings on any wall, or mount on a wood plaque. Future plans include creating solid brass service designators for Surface Warfare Officers, Submariners, Navy Seals, as well as a Command At Sea pin and the Marine Corps’ Eagle, Globe and Anchor device.
